Minister of Transport and the Marchant Marine and the Sea of Gabon, Loic Moudouma Ndinga, said that the aviation sector is making strenuous efforts to confront climate change.
In statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), he said that his country’s participation in the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Conference on Aviation and Alternative Fuels in Dubai comes as an affirmation of the concepts of sustainability and the trend towards clean energy and reducing carbon emissions.
He added that the conference’s agenda is full of topics that contribute to protecting the environment and preserving it from carbon emission, especially in regard to the aviation sector.
The Minister pointed out that such forums help in adopting viewpoints and exchanging solutions conducive to addressing climate challenges, not only in Africa, but perhaps around the entire world.
