UMM AL QAIWAIN: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, today received a delegation from the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE), led by Dr. Omar Habtour Al Darai, Acting Chairman of the Authority.
During the meeting, Sheikh Saud was briefed about the authority’s strategy, plans, and projects to enhance religious awareness, promote Islamic culture, foster moderation, tolerance, and unity, and uphold the principles and concepts of the peaceful Islamic religion among society.
He commended the authority’s accomplishments and its efforts to convey the UAE’s humanitarian message of tolerance, peace, and coexistence. He appreciated its meaningful community message and advanced smart services that benefit Emirati citizens and residents.
For his part, Al Darai lauded the support of Sheikh Saud for the authority’s projects in Umm Al Qaiwain, stressing that the authority’s strategy and future projects are inspired by the vision of the UAE’s
leadership.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
