7X and Jordan Post Sign MoU to Enhance Postal and Digital Collaboration at 28th Universal Postal Congress


Dubai: 7X, the UAE’s leading trade, transport, and logistics holding group and the official representative of the UAE in the Universal Postal Union (UPU), has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jordan Post. This agreement aims to enhance cooperation in postal services, bilateral agreements, and digital transformation.



According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was formalized after a high-level meeting between 7X’s delegation and the delegation from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, headed by Director-General of the Jordan Post, Hanadi Al-Tayeb. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the 28th Universal Postal Congress – Dubai 2025, facilitating discussions on unlocking new avenues for collaboration and knowledge exchange in the postal and logistics sectors.



The MoU focuses on strengthening the postal system through 7X’s digital solutions, with ‘Waslah Post’ playing a central role. This digital marketplace aggregates postal operators and offers national postal networks direct access to global mail and commercial flows, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The partnership is particularly beneficial for SMEs and local vendors, offering them reliable shipping solutions to compete in international eCommerce markets.



Tariq Ahmed Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, emphasized the partnership’s role in reinforcing bilateral ties and advancing international cooperation in building a modern postal system. He highlighted the importance of digital solutions like ‘Waslah Post’ in supporting digital transformation and creating a model for global postal integration.



Hanadi Al-Tayeb expressed Jordan Post’s commitment to collaboration with regional and international partners, stressing the MoU’s significance in digital transformation and the growth of global e-commerce. She noted the strategic objective to empower SMEs and enhance Jordan’s competitiveness in international markets through advanced digital platforms.



This collaboration is seen as a step forward in positioning Jordan on the global postal map and aligns with the vision of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to build a sustainable digital economy. Al-Tayeb reaffirmed Jordan Post’s commitment to working with 7X to achieve tangible advancements in the sector.
