Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jassem Al-Budaiwi has expressed strong condemnation of vandalism and assault that targeted Jordanian ambassador’s residence in the Sudanese capital Khartoum.
In a statement Saturday, Al-Budaiwi called on the warring Sudanese parties to abide by relevant international agreements and treaties, respect sanctity of diplomatic headquarters and missions and protect non-Sudanese nationals.
Al-Budaiwi reiterated the call on the two parties of the conflict to move forward quickly according to the Jeddah talks to reach a comprehensive political settlement for restoring security, stability and prosperity for the Sudanese nation.
