Abu Dhabi:Spot gold prices edged higher on Monday, gaining 0.4 percent to reach US$4,158.17 per ounce as of 01:50 GMT.
According to Emirates News Agency, US gold futures for December delivery also saw an increase, rising 0.6 percent to $4,186.40.
In addition to gold, other metals experienced price gains. Spot silver rose by 1.7 percent, reaching $61.40 per ounce. Platinum increased by 0.6 percent to $1,708.48, and palladium firmed by 0.6 percent to $1,175.04.
