Abu Dhabi:Google is implementing changes to the availability of its Gemini artificial intelligence models, which will take effect this month. Starting on October 9, users without a Google AI subscription will only have access to the Flash-Lite model, rather than the three models that were previously available.
According to Emirates News Agency, Under the new changes, Google AI Plus subscribers will have access to both Flash-Lite and Flash models, but not the Pro model. Google has stated that AI Plus subscribers will receive an email notification when the changes are applied to their accounts.
Subscribers to Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra will continue to have access to all three models: Flash-Lite, Flash, and Pro. Additionally, these subscribers will have access to Deep Think, a feature designed to enhance parallel reasoning for complex tasks.
