ABU DHABI, The Muslim Council of Elders, under the Chairmanship of the Grand Imam of Al Azhar His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al Tayeb, mourned the victims of the Abu Sefein church fire in Giza Governorate.
The Council extended its sincere condolences to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Episcopate, and to the Egyptian people, over the victims of this tragic accident, praying to Allah Almighty to grant their families patience and the injured a speedy recovery.
