Abu dhabi: The Eid Al Etihad Team has issued an open call to artists, designers, creative businesses, and manufacturers across the UAE, inviting them to participate in creating official merchandise for the 54th Eid Al Etihad. This annual celebration commemorates the UAE’s unification on 2 December 1971. The initiative aligns with the Year of Community, aiming to harness the diverse talents within the UAE to contribute to the nation’s story and its celebration of unity.
According to Emirates News Agency, applicants are encouraged to present merchandise concepts that serve as tokens of memory, reflecting the UAE’s identity and fostering a sense of joy and unity within communities. Eisa Alsubousi, Director of Strategic and Creative Affairs of the Eid Al Etihad Team, emphasized the open call as a moment for partnership and inclusion. He highlighted the role of creativity in connecting people and strengthening the emotional ties to the shared national story, aiming to develop sustainable merchandise that resonates with heritage, community, and unity.
The Eid Al Etihad Team plans to collaborate with selected applicants to present and distribute their creations as part of the official merchandise for the event. Those not selected, along with the wider community, are encouraged to utilize the Eid Al Etihad brand, accessible on the website www.EidAlEtihad.ae, in their celebrations and to share their creativity on social media, contributing to a unified 54th Eid Al Etihad celebration.
The application period is open from 17 September to 17 October 2025, with submissions accepted through a link available on the official Eid Al Etihad social media channels and website.
