Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of Ajman Executive Council and Chairman of the Ajman Excellence Programme, attended a session delivered by Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE National Media Office and Chairman of the UAE Media Council, as part of the 2025 edition of the Government Practices Forum.

According to Emirates News Agency, Abdulla Al Hamed expressed gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi for supporting the programme, aligning with the leadership’s vision of promoting government excellence and devising innovative solutions that impact lives positively. Al Hamed articulated the media’s potential as a partner in enhancing government excellence by portraying achievements and the human impact of government policies, thereby boosting public trust in institutions.

Al Hamed pointed out that the UAE has established a modern national media sector that balances credibility and innovation with precision and a human touch, positioning people at the core of its mission. He explained that UAE’s media portrays the government not only as a decision-making entity but as one that prioritizes people in every initiative, fostering societal engagement as a cornerstone for development and trust-building.

He emphasized that in the current rapidly evolving world, government success transcends statistical metrics and is defined by its ability to enrich lives through ideas, experiences, and impact. Inspiring governance, he noted, transforms public service into a human experience, performance into a narrative, and communication into an open dialogue with society.

Al Hamed remarked that the UAE epitomizes ‘the government that inspires’ through performance, communication, and a coherent national narrative. He underscored that true leadership extends beyond administrative excellence to a human commitment that translates policies into positive, tangible outcomes.

He highlighted that innovation is central to the UAE’s institutional identity, setting benchmarks for leadership and quality of life. Innovative governance, he explained, converts challenges into practical solutions that consistently enhance the experience of citizens and residents.

He reiterated that media is not just a mirror of government action but a crucial conduit for public confidence and optimism. He stated that effective institutional media anticipates developments and showcases best practices to inform future strategies, turning successful initiatives into models to emulate.

Al Hamed stressed that national media represents institutional harmony by showcasing collaboration and joint initiatives between entities, illustrating that success is a collective accomplishment. Beyond information dissemination, media, he noted, inspires public involvement in shaping the future, encourages innovation, and promotes continuous learning and awareness.

Concluding the session, Al Hamed asserted that true government success is gauged not solely by numbers but by the positive impact on people’s lives. He added that genuine leadership is mirrored in the satisfaction of citizens and residents, a quality visible in every new project and initiative in the UAE, affirming that governance innovation aims to create the most meaningful and beautiful outcomes that can be seen, felt, and lived.
