New York:The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) successfully concluded its annual Global Investor Roadshow and Conference in New York, connecting its top blue-chip companies with numerous U.S. institutional investors.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event, held in collaboration with Morgan Stanley, took place over two days and concluded on September 25, 2026. It brought together senior leaders from 13 prominent ADX-listed companies and approximately 70 major U.S. institutional investors, collectively managing over USD 35 trillion in assets. The participants represented sectors critical to Abu Dhabi Vision 2030, including energy, banking, real estate, telecommunications, and basic materials.
Nearly 120 one-on-one and group meetings were conducted, during which ADX issuers presented their equity stories, competitive positioning, growth strategies, and strong financial performance. These interactions underscored the growing interest of investors in emerging market diversification, despite global economic challenges.
In the first half of 2026, overseas investors made up 48% of the total ADX trading value and 77% of the 30,000 new registered investors. Additionally, net positive inflows increased by 13.7% year on year, reaching $380 million (AED 1.4 billion).
Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, Group Chief Executive Officer of the ADX, emphasized the importance of direct connections between listed companies and the global investment community for the continued development of Abu Dhabi's economy. He highlighted the exchange's commitment to enhancing market infrastructure, expanding product offerings, and improving digital connectivity.
Looking ahead, ADX aims to strengthen Abu Dhabi's position as a global financial hub by expanding sophisticated financial products and ensuring sustainable market value through strong governance and operational capabilities.
