ADJD Approves Virtual Communication for Inmates During Eid Al Adha

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has announced the approval of a schedule for virtual communication sessions for inmates at Al Wathba and Al Ain correctional and rehabilitation centres with their families during the Eid Al Adha holiday.

According to Emirates News Agency, this initiative is part of an effort to enhance family bonds and promote a rehabilitative environment that upholds humanitarian and social values. The virtual sessions are scheduled to occur from June 5th to June 8th, between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm.

The communication will be facilitated through the smart application "Nafidhati", allowing inmates to connect remotely with their families via designated police stations equipped with cutting-edge technology. Families can book these sessions electronically at any time through digital platforms, including the Abu Dhabi Government Services portal 'TAMM' or the Abu Dhabi Police website.

Once an appointment is approved, a confirmation text message with the appointment details and the designated police station for the video call will be sent, ensuring the process is both organised and efficient.
