Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, attended a ceremony celebrating the graduation of participants from four specialized media and content creation initiatives on the final day of the Arab Media Summit 2026, hosted by the Dubai Press Club.
According to Emirates News Agency, the initiatives reflect the Summit's ongoing dedication to nurturing new talent and equipping aspiring media professionals with essential skills and tools to thrive amid the fast-changing global media landscape. The Summit featured graduates from the Health Content Creators Program, DXB500, Cultural Content Creators Program, and the Arabic Podcast Program, each focusing on government communication, specialized content creation, and audio content, respectively.
The specialized courses are designed to enhance the capabilities of young media professionals and content creators, offering them practical training to navigate the dynamic media industry. Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, emphasized the importance of sustained investment in talent development to keep pace with rapid media transformations and capitalize on emerging tools and technologies.
She stated, "Investing in new talent and capabilities is critical to developing a vibrant media sector that can reimagine the future. These initiatives play an important role in honing emerging talent and providing media professionals and content creators of tomorrow with opportunities to gain expertise and experience, enabling them to produce high-quality, impactful content and contribute to the continued development of the media landscape."
The Health Content Creators Program, launched by the Dubai Press Club and Dubai Health, was highlighted for its success in promoting specialized content and innovative approaches to disseminating information related to public health and wellbeing. The DXB500 initiative celebrated its graduates, focusing on strengthening government communication skills and content creation amid evolving media and digital tools.
The Cultural Content Creators Program, in collaboration with the Dubai Press Club and Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, aims to develop skills in creating content that showcases Dubai's cultural and creative scene. The Arabic Podcast Program supports audio content creators in producing impactful content for diverse audiences.
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed also posed for a commemorative photo with participants of the 'Media Leadership Programme,' an initiative by the Dubai Media Council to enhance media talent's professional and leadership skills. The Arab Media Summit, through these initiatives, continues to inspire fresh perspectives and capabilities in the media industry across the Arab region, reinforcing Dubai's status as a media and content development hub.
