Beijing: China's foreign exchange reserves experienced a decrease of $26 billion by the end of June, marking a 0.75 percent decline from May's figures. The reserves totaled $3.4163 trillion by the close of last month, as reported by the China State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
According to Emirates News Agency, the administration noted that the decline was influenced by several factors, including the rise of the US dollar index and mixed movements in the prices of major global financial assets. The administration highlighted that fluctuations in exchange rate translations and variations in asset prices were significant contributors to the reduction observed in China's foreign exchange reserves during June.
