Beijing: The value of China's international trade in goods and services reached 4.22 trillion yuan (approximately US$588.3 billion) in June, marking a 6 percent increase year-on-year, official data revealed on Thursday.
According to Emirates News Agency, in US dollar terms, China's exports of goods and services amounted to $329.2 billion, while imports were recorded at $259.1 billion. This resulted in a trade surplus of $70.1 billion, as reported by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
Breaking down the figures, the export of goods totaled 2.12 trillion yuan, and imports reached 1.51 trillion yuan, leading to a surplus of 607.3 billion yuan. Meanwhile, the export of services was 243.7 billion yuan, with imports at 348 billion yuan, creating a deficit of 104.3 billion yuan.
