Dubai: Dubai Press Club has announced the launch of the third edition of the Arab Podcast Program, aimed at advancing the Arab podcasting industry by equipping emerging talent with the necessary skills to produce high-quality content. The initiative is supported by leading regional and international digital platforms and media organizations.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Program will be conducted over three weeks at the Dubai Press Club headquarters, beginning on 13th July. It will feature a lineup of podcasters, experts, and trainers from across the Arab world, covering stages of podcast production from concept development to marketing.
Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, emphasized that the program reflects leadership's commitment to media as a partner in shaping the future. The goal is to encourage the creation of meaningful Arabic content and amplify creative talents capable of engaging regional audiences through contemporary platforms.
Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, highlighted that the third edition builds on previous successes by offering specialized training to meet the evolving needs of the industry. The initiative invests in Arab media talent, empowering participants to create competitive and impactful content.
Al Mulla emphasized the comprehensive curriculum that combines editorial and creative skills with technical expertise, allowing participants to refine ideas into sustainable podcast projects. Wedad Kahoor, Section Head - Media Talent Development at the DPC, outlined that applicants must be UAE residents aged 18 to 35 with strong Arabic communication skills and a reasonable grasp of technology.
Kahoor also noted that completed projects will be evaluated in August, with winners announced at Dubai PodFest 2026 during the Arab Media Summit next September. The deadline for entry submissions is 12th July, and registration can be done at https://dpc.org.ae.
