Kinshasa: The Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo announced on Tuesday that the number of Ebola infections has risen to 837 cases, including 196 deaths.
According to Emirates News Agency, the World Health Organization had announced on 17th May that the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda constituted a public health emergency. The organization warned of the risk of the disease spreading to other countries and stressed that the regional risk level remains high.
