A number of aircraft of Egyptian Air Force, in cooperation with a set of friendly and brotherly nations, have dropped tons of humanitarian aid and emerge relief supplies over the badly-affected areas in the Gaza Strip.
The aid, provided by Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Qatar and France, included large amounts of food and emergency humanitarian needs, with the aim of alleviating the severe impact of the ongoing military operation in the war-wrecked strip.
The move coincides with the continued opening of the Rafah Border Crossing for the entry of assistance to residents in Gaza.
The airdrop comes in line with Egyptian state’s serious efforts at all levels towards ensuring a sustained delivery of the assistance and reaching a just settlement to the current crisis.
