Sharjah: Emirates National Schools in Sharjah celebrated the graduation of its seventh cohort, comprising 158 students, at a ceremony held at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre. The event was attended by Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The cohort was named the Year of the Family 2026 Cohort.
According to Emirates News Agency, the ceremony was graced by a number of sheikhs, senior officials, members of the school's Board of Directors, administrative and teaching staff, and parents. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Humairi, Secretary-General of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates National Schools, commended the achievements of the schools and their contribution to preparing academically and leadership-capable generations. He highlighted the role of advanced educational programs that employ artificial intelligence technologies and promote sustainability and innovation.
Lachlan Mackinnon, Director-General of Emirates National Schools, stated that the success of the graduates reflected the effectiveness of the school's vision in developing students academically, nationally, and personally. The educational environment provided by the school supports creativity, leadership, and community service, preparing students for future challenges.
The graduates expressed pride in their achievements and acknowledged the support of Emirates National Schools in developing their skills and reinforcing values of national identity and belonging. They also expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership, especially to H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his ongoing patronage and support of the nation's youth.
Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi concluded the ceremony by presenting certificates to the graduates, wishing them success in their future academic and career endeavors. The school administration honored Sheikh Dr. Khalid with a commemorative shield to appreciate his attendance and participation.
