Emirati Women’s Forum 2026 Set to Begin with Focus on Empowerment and Innovation

Dubai: The Emirati Women's Forum 2026, orchestrated by the Dubai Women Establishment, is scheduled to commence tomorrow at Madinat Jumeirah. This event aligns with the UAE's celebration of Emirati Women's Day, themed 'We Emerge Stronger and Better', an initiative launched by H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak.

According to Emirates News Agency, this second edition of the Forum is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It gathers ministers, senior officials, and leaders from both government and private sectors. The event will feature panels and workshops, serving as a key occasion to mark Emirati Women's Day in Dubai.

The agenda includes seven keynote and panel sessions and six workshops, focusing on Emirati women's contributions across various sectors. H.H. Sheikha Manal stressed the Forum's role in supporting women as central to the UAE's development and future endeavors.

Mona Ghanem Al Marri from the Dubai Women Establishment outlined that the Forum aims to foster dialogue and create opportunities for Emirati women's expanded participation in development. Naeema Ahli, CEO of the Dubai Women Establishment, emphasized the UAE leadership's role in empowering women to achieve leadership positions in future-focused fields like technology and renewable energy.

The Forum will feature a plenary session inspired by this year's theme, with insights from Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, the first Emirati woman to serve as a government minister. Other notable speakers include Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, who will discuss the role of education, and Khalfan Belhoul, who will explore the impact of technology on the job market.

Several workshops will be held in collaboration with key partners, exploring women's roles in sustainability, innovation, finance, and more.
