Brussels: EU Ministers of Foreign Affairs will convene next Monday in Brussels for a meeting chaired by Kaja Kallas, European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. The ministers are set to tackle several international issues, with significant attention on the ongoing war in Ukraine. An informal exchange of views with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha via video conference is scheduled to precede the discussions.
According to Emirates News Agency, the agenda will also focus on the situation in Georgia and potential measures that may be taken. A significant portion of the meeting will address the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly concerning Gaza, Israel, and Iran.
The meeting will also cover discussions under the theme Mediterranean 2025. This includes a review of the Union for the Mediterranean Charter and exploring potential reforms. Additionally, the ministers will discuss the European Union's relations with various regions and countries, including the Caribbean, Somalia, Moldova, China, Japan, and Libya.
