Federal Police Discuss With The EU Delegation Ways Of Cooperation In The Field Of Training And Benefiting From Expertise

Baghdad - The Commander of the Federal Police Forces, Lieutenant General Saleh Nasser Al-Amiri, met today, Thursday, at the command headquarters in Baghdad, the head of the European Union Advisory Mission in Iraq, Anders Vibari, and his accompanying delegation.

A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated: “The two sides discussed ways of cooperation and the importance of benefiting from diverse expertise and experiences and exchanging ideas to achieve joint cooperation in implementing specialized training programs.”

The statement added: “Fibari expressed his thanks and appreciation for the opportunity to meet, and praised the great role of the federal police heroes in implementing training plans and curricula and the security operations they carry out in order to implement the law, extend security and protect citizens,” stressing his readiness for continued and fruitful cooperation with the leadership of the federal police forces.

For his part, the Federal Police Commander praised the important role of the European Union advisory mission in Iraq, and praised its various contributions in implementing multiple projects and programs in cooperation with government institutions.
