Gold Prices Experience Decline as Silver and Platinum Show Mixed Trends

Abu dhabi: Gold prices eased on Monday, with spot gold falling 0.7 percent to US$4,061.35 per ounce as of 02:42 GMT. US gold futures for August delivery declined 0.5 percent to US$4,076.40. Gold was on track for a fourth consecutive monthly loss of 10.4 percent.

According to Emirates News Agency, spot silver fell 1.1 percent to US$58.51 per ounce. Meanwhile, platinum demonstrated an upward trend, rising 1 percent to US$1,630.13. Palladium also showed gains, increasing 0.8 percent to US$1,218.92.
