Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has met with Ronald O’Hanley, Chairman and CEO of State Street, a leader in asset management, banking services, and investment consultancy. The meeting focused on exploring avenues to enhance cooperation between entities in Abu Dhabi and State Street.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions centered around forming strategic partnerships to promote knowledge exchange and leverage innovative solutions across various sectors, including asset management, banking, and investment services. The collaboration seeks to bolster Abu Dhabi’s position as a prominent global financial hub, with a focus on improving investment efficiency and sustainability.
State Street Corporation, established in 1792, holds the distinction of being the second oldest continuously operating bank in the United States. With over US$5 trillion in assets under management, the company has a significant presence, operating in more than 100 markets worldwide.
The meeting was also attended by key officials including Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince.
