Khalifa Fund Engages with Global Food Week 2026 in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi:Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is participating in the third edition of Global Food Week 2026, held at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi from October 6th to 8th.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event is organized by ADNEC Group in strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority. The theme for this year is 'Building Scalable Food Futures Together,' reflecting Khalifa Fund's commitment to empowering Emirati entrepreneurs and SMEs to seize opportunities in high-potential sectors while enhancing their market access and contribution to the development of Abu Dhabi's food and agriculture ecosystem.

Khalifa Fund is supporting 11 Emirati SMEs involved in agricultural technology, bakery equipment and technologies, baked goods and confectionery, and traditional Emirati cuisine. These enterprises are provided with a platform to showcase their products and solutions, connect with potential buyers and partners, and explore new commercial opportunities.

During the event, several participating Emirati enterprises will conduct workshops to share their expertise, experiences, and entrepreneurial journeys with visitors, industry specialists, and key sector stakeholders.

Mouza Obaid Al Nasri, CEO of Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, emphasized the importance of the event for Emirati entrepreneurs to connect with global buyers, suppliers, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders. The aim is to build commercial relationships, explore new opportunities, and strengthen market access, supporting the development of enterprises at various growth stages.

The participation of Khalifa Fund includes signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority. This agreement focuses on strengthening cooperation between the two entities to support Abu Dhabi's agriculture and food sectors through joint programs and initiatives in capacity building, entrepreneurship, and investment.

The cooperation aims to provide practical opportunities for agricultural enterprises and innovators through proof-of-concept, pilot projects, field testing, and market access. It also supports beneficiaries of agricultural empowerment programs and initiatives under the Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Agricultural Excellence Award.
