Abu dhabi: The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an has unveiled its latest community contribution deployment report for 2025, showcasing the significant impact of social projects supported by the authority in promoting social development across Abu Dhabi.
According to Emirates News Agency, during 2025, the authority succeeded in raising and deploying community contributions towards 83 partner-led projects spanning the social, health, education, environment, and infrastructure sectors. These initiatives addressed critical social priorities within Abu Dhabi. The projects were executed with the collaboration of various partners, including the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), PureHealth, Schlumberger Middle East, and the Department of Municipalities and Transport, among others.

us efforts to further the vision of the wise leadership in building a society with a sustainable quality of life. The authority serves as the official channel of the Abu Dhabi Government for receiving social contributions, supporting well-defined social priorities that have a direct impact on individuals and families.
Al Dhaheri highlighted that the authority has delivered tangible social benefits to over 42,149 beneficiaries in the Abu Dhabi community. By structuring and effectively governing contributions, the authority has addressed social challenges, strengthened family stability, and supported vulnerable segments of society, reinforcing community cohesion. He emphasized the importance of guiding and organizing community contributions to enhance resource allocation towards initiatives that support families across different life stages.
Abdullah Al Ameri, Director-General of the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, remarked on the growth of contributions, highlighting the success of efforts to foste
r community engagement and cultivate a culture of giving. He emphasized the authority’s transparency and commitment to directing contributions strategically towards projects that address pressing social priorities and support economic development.
In 2025, AED221.4 million was deployed towards impactful projects, with AED179 million from financial contributions and AED42.4 million from in-kind contributions. Key initiatives included the SEHA Abu Dhabi Dialysis Centre, a cheese production factory operated by People of Determination, the Supporting Students’ Education initiative, and the Support Sea Turtle Conservation project, among others. These projects benefited various community groups, including People of Determination, senior citizens, orphans, students, low-income families, and patients.
Faisal Al Hmoudi, Executive Director of the Social Investment Fund at Ma’an, highlighted the role of experienced partners in achieving significant impact in 2025. He emphasized the authority’s dedication to strengthen
ing partnerships across key sectors, extending the reach and impact of social initiatives to drive positive change and deliver long-term benefits.
The largest share of funding was directed to the social sector, with AED95.6 million allocated across 46 projects aimed at addressing pressing social priorities. The health sector received AED91.9 million for 14 impactful projects focused on essential social healthcare services. The education sector was allocated AED22.7 million across 11 projects, promoting access to quality education. Additionally, AED11.2 million was allocated to the environment and infrastructure sector for 12 projects promoting sustainable development.
Through various platforms such as ATM, ADPAY, Banks, Botim, and contribution kiosks, Ma’an successfully raised AED2.8 million allocated across six different projects. The authority remains committed to channeling contributions towards community projects to promote development and build an inclusive society.
