Port moresby: A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck Papua New Guinea, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
According to Emirates News Agency, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 90 km (56 miles). The GFZ provided details about the seismic event, highlighting the depth and magnitude.
