Maktoum Bin Mohammed Meets with China’s Ambassador to UAE


Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, engaged in a meeting with Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE. The meeting aimed to explore various opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation across critical sectors that align with the comprehensive and sustainable development objectives of both nations.



According to Emirates News Agency, discussions during the meeting emphasized the potential for further progress, building on the profound ties and friendship between the two countries and their citizens. The dialogue also focused on reviewing recent developments on both regional and international stages, addressing the situation in the Middle East, and ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.



The Chinese Ambassador expressed appreciation for the attention and support that UAE-China relations receive at the highest levels. He acknowledged the UAE’s pioneering role on both regional and global fronts and confirmed his country’s commitment to continuing joint efforts to strengthen the foundations of sustainable cooperation between the two countries.



The meeting saw the attendance of Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, underscoring the importance of the dialogue in fortifying UAE-China relations.
