MoFA Undersecretary Receives Credentials of Haitian Ambassador

Abu dhabi: Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received a copy of the credentials of Fran§ois Guillaume II, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti to the United Arab Emirates, at the Ministry's headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

According to Emirates News Agency, Alshamsi expressed his wishes for the Ambassador's success in fulfilling his duties, while emphasizing the UAE's dedication to enhancing cooperation with Haiti. The goal is to serve the mutual interests of both nations and their citizens.

The Ambassador praised the United Arab Emirates' regional and international influence under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He also expressed his eagerness to work on strengthening and advancing bilateral relations across multiple domains.

The United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Haiti maintain a friendly relationship based on mutual respect, with cooperation spanning areas such as energy, tourism, trade, investment, infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and coordination in international forums.
