Abu Dhabi:Najah, the Middle East's premier higher education fair, is set to open its 20th edition in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant milestone in its two-decade journey. This year, Najah will have its largest presence yet as it expands to Al Ain for the first time, reinforcing its status as the UAE's leading higher education event.
According to Emirates News Agency, the milestone comes as the higher education sector in the UAE is rapidly evolving, driven by technological advancements and changing labor market demands. With increasing demand and a broader array of study choices, Najah 2026 provides students, parents, teachers, and counselors with direct access to university admissions teams, scholarship opportunities, and information on academic programs, both local and international.
Supported by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Najah 2026 begins with Najah Abu Dhabi from October 18-21 at the ADNEC Centre, followed by Najah Dubai from October 25-27 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The inaugural Najah Al Ain event will occur on November 2 and 3 at the ADNEC Centre in Al Ain.
This year's event will feature over 100 universities from more than 20 countries, allowing students to engage directly with admissions representatives and explore various undergraduate and postgraduate programs, scholarships, and international study pathways. Najah Abu Dhabi has been extended to four days in 2026, with enhancements to facilitate school group visits.
Dima Al Sadi, Portfolio Manager of Najah Expo, highlighted the significance of the 20th edition, noting the event's role in helping students and families make informed decisions about their future. Al Sadi emphasized the complexity of choices facing students today, including the skills needed for future careers and the global opportunities available through their qualifications. Najah provides a unique setting for students to engage with experts and gain clarity on their educational journey.
The inaugural Najah Al Ain will feature more than 50 local and international universities, offering insights into the latest higher education opportunities in the UAE and abroad. Institutions from over 10 countries, including the UAE, United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Hungary, and Malaysia, will be present.
Al Sadi concluded that launching Najah Al Ain is a natural progression in Najah's growth, aiming to make educational opportunities more accessible for the strong student and school community in the city. The event encourages students to explore their options, engage with the right people, and leave with a clearer understanding of their future educational paths.
