RAK Ruler Pardons 506 Prisoners Ahead of Ramadan

Ras Al Khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has ordered the release of 506 prisoners ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan, pledging to settle their financial liabilities as the month approaches. This initiative is part of Sheikh Saud's continued efforts to provide pardoned inmates the chance to start anew and stabilize their family lives.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, has issued directives to ensure that the necessary legal procedures are expedited to fulfill Sheikh Saud's decision. This move highlights the leadership's commitment to community welfare and familial harmony during this significant period.

The Attorney-General of Ras Al Khaimah, Hasan Saeed Mehaimed, remarked on the significance of this gesture, noting that it underscores Sheikh Saud's dedication to offering inmates a chance to reintegrate into society. By facilitating their release, the initiative aims to bring joy and ease to their families and loved ones in observance of the holy month.
