RAKEZ and Peko Collaborate to Enhance SME Digital Operations


Ras al khaimah: Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has entered into a partnership with UAE-based fintech company Peko to provide a suite of automated services aimed at simplifying the operational needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).



According to Emirates News Agency, these services, which range from invoicing and payroll to utility payments and business travel bookings, will be accessible via RAKEZ’s client portal. This collaboration is designed to offer SMEs enhanced convenience and control over their business operations.



The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Peko Founder and CEO Kashif Khan and RAKEZ CXO Ian Hunt at the Compass Coworking Centre. Peko is known for its smart automation solutions that help businesses reduce manual labor, increase financial visibility, and improve compliance by using features such as real-time dashboards and automated reporting. By integrating these capabilities with RAKEZ’s digital platform, the initiative aims to create a connected ecosystem that enables clients to save time, reduce costs, and operate more efficiently.



Kashif Khan stated that the partnership with RAKEZ is a significant step in empowering SMEs with enterprise-level capabilities.
