Dubai: The Rais Hassan Saadi Group (RHS Group) has announced a contribution of AED1 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. The initiative was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
According to Emirates News Agency, the campaign aims to honour fathers in the UAE by establishing a sustainable endowment fund to provide treatment and healthcare for the less fortunate. RHS Group’s contribution forms part of a broader community response to the campaign, which is an initiative under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).
The campaign allows individuals to donate in the name of their fathers, promoting values such as honouring parents, compassion, and solidarity. It aims to strengthen the UAE’s position as a leader in charitable and humanitarian work while promoting the concept of charitable endowments.
Saadi Abdul Rahim Al Rais, Chairman of RHS Group, stated that the Fathers’ Endowment campaign reflects the collaborative spirit of the UAE community in creating a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families. He emphasized the campaign’s embodiment of humanitarian values, supporting those in need worldwide. Al Rais encouraged everyone to participate in the campaign to make a difference by alleviating suffering and providing vital assistance.
He further noted that the Group’s contribution is significant as it supports providing treatment to those in need and combating diseases in less fortunate communities, thereby contributing to a healthier society and enriching the UAE’s charitable and humanitarian efforts.
The campaign continues to accept donations and contributions to the endowment fund from institutions and individuals through six main channels. These include the campaign’s website (Fathersfund.ae) and a dedicated call center via the toll-free number (800 4999).
Donations can also be made via bank transfers in UAE dirhams to the campaign’s bank account number with Emirates Islamic Bank (IBAN: AE020340003518492868201). Additionally, donations via SMS are possible by sending the word “Father” to specified numbers for different amounts for Etisalat by e and du users.
Other platforms for donating to the campaign include the DubaiNow app, where individuals can click the “Donations” tab, and Dubai’s community contributions platform, Jood (Jood.ae).
