Abu dhabi: Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), is set to lead an official delegation to the Republic of Azerbaijan from October 28th to 31st to participate in an international parliamentary conference. This event marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of Azerbaijan’s Constitution.
According to Emirates News Agency, the conference is hosted by the National Assembly of Azerbaijan at the invitation of its Speaker, Sahiba Gafarova. The visit highlights the UAE’s dedication to enhancing parliamentary cooperation with Azerbaijan, fostering dialogue, and exchanging expertise in legislative and constitutional affairs. It also aligns with the FNC’s broader mission to cultivate constructive partnerships and coordinated positions on mutual interests.
During the visit, the FNC delegation will engage in bilateral meetings with senior Azerbaijani officials to explore opportunities for further development of parliamentary and institutional cooperation. These discussions aim to reinforce the enduring partnership between the UAE and Azerbaijan, strengthened by the leadership of both nations.
