SEC Approves Organisational Structure of Sharjah Police Academy

Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), led the Council meeting on Tuesday at the Ruler's Office. The assembly, which also included H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, focused on several key areas such as monitoring the performance of government departments, enhancing legislation, and laws to improve government work efficiency.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Council approved the general organisational structure of the Sharjah Police Academy. This move is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The aim is to enable government entities to perform their roles more efficiently and enhance their institutional capabilities, thereby achieving excellence and sustainability in government operations.

The approval is part of the leadership's commitment to developing the government work system according to best practices. It also aims to keep pace with rapid developments in security education and training, preparing qualified national cadres to support security and stability. The organisational structure is designed to enhance the Academy's efficiency by clearly defining roles and responsibilities among its various units.

This initiative aligns with the broader approach to developing organisational structures across government departments, enhancing their flexibility and ability to respond to future challenges. The Council has directed its General Secretariat to complete the necessary legislative procedures.

Additionally, the Council reviewed the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department's response to recommendations from the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC). The Department praised the recommendations for their insightful contributions to the real estate sector, emphasizing digital transformation and modernising government services. The Department is committed to implementing these recommendations, which are expected to improve customer experience and accelerate transactions through simplified procedures.

The response highlighted the Department's dedication to developing initiatives that enhance service inclusiveness, particularly for the elderly and people with disabilities. The Department plans to implement the recommendations through well-thought-out plans focusing on sustainability, digital transformation, and innovation in government work.
