Sharjah Launches Summer 2026 with Extensive Events and Offers

Sharjah: The Emirate of Sharjah has unveiled its Summer 2026 season, introducing a variety of promotional offers, cultural and entertainment events, and family activities, in conjunction with the Sharjah Summer Offers 2026, which will continue until 31st August. This initiative is designed to bolster the emirate's reputation as an all-encompassing family and tourism destination.

According to Emirates News Agency, the summer programme provides both visitors and residents with a wide array of experiences, including shopping promotions, entertainment activities, cultural events, and family-centric attractions throughout the emirate. Sharjah is further solidifying its role as a preferred regional tourism hub through a blend of cultural landmarks, waterfronts, beaches, natural attractions, and family-oriented facilities. Visitors have the opportunity to explore traditional markets, modern entertainment venues, and a diverse range of dining options.

To stay informed about the array of events, festivals, cultural activities, sporting events, and entertainment programmes, visitors can access the comprehensive Sharjah events calendar via sharjahevents.ae. Noteworthy heritage attractions include the Heart of Sharjah district, which allows visitors to delve into the emirate's rich cultural heritage through historic passages, heritage buildings, and traditional markets.

In the Central Region, Al Dhaid Fort, the historic Al Sharia area, and Al Dhaid Sharia Souq offer a heritage experience that merges culture, tourism, and commerce. Meanwhile, in Khor Fakkan, Souq Sharq and the Old Market Museum present traditional lifestyles, crafts, and local heritage.

Sharjah's cultural programme is further enriched by its museums and cultural institutions. The Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization showcases seven galleries dedicated to Islamic history, arts, sciences, and craftsmanship. The House of Wisdom is a prominent cultural destination, housing over 100,000 books, reading spaces, discussion rooms, and landscaped gardens. It is hosting workshops and activities for children and young people throughout June and early July, covering topics such as 2D design, vinyl cutting, 3D scanning and printing, STEM programmes, AI cartoon creation, nature exploration, and yoga sessions for mothers and children.

With more than 16 museums, Sharjah boasts the largest number of museums in the UAE, offering year-round educational programmes, workshops, exhibitions, and community events for visitors of all ages. The Sharjah Summer Offers 2026, running until 31st August, marks the first time this 100-day campaign is being organised, involving hotels, shopping centres, retail outlets, and tourism attractions across the emirate. The campaign includes promotional packages, discounts, entertainment programmes, tourism experiences, and prize draws.
