Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed an expansion project for the University Hospital Sharjah. This project, set to commence immediately, involves the construction of a new building adjacent to the existing facility at a total cost of AED 300 million.
According to Emirates News Agency, the expansion aims to enhance the hospital's healthcare services significantly. The new building will double the current capacity and will include the addition of 300 parking spaces, marking a substantial development in the hospital's infrastructure.
