The centre, which operates under the Sharjah Judicial Council, serves as a primary defense against threats to family stability, such as disputes and social issues that may lead to family disintegration.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed toured various departments within the centre, including the enforcement and documentation departments, to understand the judicial procedures in place. He received a comprehensive overview of the services offered, which aim to resolve family disputes amicably before they reach the courts. The centre's approach includes formal pledges and approved agreements to maintain social relationships.
During his visit, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed attended a segment of a workshop named Marital Life Vitamins. This ongoing initiative is designed to raise awareness among family members and offer strategies for conflict prevention and resolution. The workshop is part of the centre's broader efforts to provide solutions that benefit family members.
The Deputy Ruler also reviewed the centre's objectives, roles, and participation in awareness activities at various events. Statistical data presented during the visit highlighted the centre's effectiveness, with 1,356 cases resolved through reconciliation procedures, underscoring its pivotal role in preserving family cohesion.
