Abu dhabi: TRENDS Group and the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry have engaged in discussions to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation. The focus of the discussions was on developing a strategic partnership that emphasizes the exchange of knowledge and expertise in research and advisory services. The aim is to leverage research, studies, and economic data to support informed decision-making, enhancing foresight across commercial and industrial sectors, and bolstering Ras Al Khaimah's investment environment.
According to Emirates News Agency, the dialogue also included discussions on mechanisms enabling government entities and businesses to benefit from specialized research and analytical insights. This approach is intended to help identify growth opportunities in regional and global markets, establish high-value partnerships, expand operations, enhance competitiveness, and achieve sustainable growth aligned with Ras Al Khaimah Vision 2030.
The meeting took place at TRENDS Group's headquarters in Abu Dhabi and was attended by Dr. Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Dr. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, Chairman of TRENDS Group, along with several general managers, researchers, and specialists from both sides.
Dr. Al Nuaimi highlighted Ras Al Khaimah Vision 2030's goal of achieving sustainable development through ambitious scientific strategies across various sectors such as energy, environment, tourism, and infrastructure. He emphasized the Chamber's role in empowering the private sector and fostering strategic partnerships to support the emirate's transition toward a diversified and competitive knowledge-based economy, aligning with the UAE's national agenda.
Dr. Al Nuaimi further explained that the cooperation with TRENDS Group underscores the Chamber's commitment to expanding sustainable strategic partnerships and engaging with leading regional and international research institutions. This collaboration aims to enhance the competitiveness of Ras Al Khaimah's business community.
Dr. Al Ali emphasized the significance of partnering with the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber to support informed decision-making and provide specialized insights and analysis to enhance private sector competitiveness. He noted that TRENDS Group plans to utilize its research, knowledge, training, and advisory capabilities to support the Chamber's sustainable economic development goals.
He added that TRENDS Group and the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber will collaborate on launching specialized research projects, innovative initiatives, and training programs aimed at preparing young professionals and developing their creative capabilities. They will also conduct opinion polls, analytical studies, and field research to provide valuable insights into the needs and perceptions of the Chamber's stakeholders.
