TRENDS Showcases 450 Peer-Reviewed Publications at Beijing International Book Fair 2026

Beijing: TRENDS Group, represented by TRENDS Research and Advisory and TRENDS Global, participated in the 32nd Beijing International Book Fair 2026 with an impressive display of more than 450 peer-reviewed research and academic publications, showcased within the UAE House pavilion. This participation underscored TRENDS' commitment to fostering intellectual and cultural dialogue between the UAE and China.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event highlighted TRENDS' efforts in promoting sustainable knowledge partnerships and enhancing scientific and cultural exchange between the two nations. By presenting its latest research publications, organizing intellectual events and specialized discussion sessions, and conducting academic meetings with leading Chinese institutions and universities, TRENDS played a significant role in knowledge production and dialogue.

The TRENDS pavilion garnered attention from senior officials, diplomats, and researchers attending the fair, who took the opportunity to review the group's extensive research and advisory initiatives. These efforts were met with praise for TRENDS' role in forecasting global transformations and contributing to intellectual discourse.

In alignment with its mission, the TRENDS delegation engaged in a meeting with Peking University to explore potential academic cooperation in areas such as regional and international studies, Arab-Chinese relations, researcher exchange programs, and the establishment of joint training programs. This strategic dialogue aimed to deepen academic ties between the two countries.

Additionally, TRENDS Group conducted a joint dialogue session with the School of Arabic Studies at Beijing Foreign Studies University. The session focused on enhancing cooperation in research projects, promoting translation activities between Arabic and Chinese, and initiating specialized training programs to empower young researchers and bolster their knowledge capabilities.
