UAE Leaders Extend Condolences to Laos Over Assembly President’s Death

Abu dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a message of condolences to Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, following the death of Lao National Assembly President Xaysomphone Phomvihane. His Highness expressed his sympathy and support to the Laotian leader during this period of mourning.

According to Emirates News Agency, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, along with His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also conveyed their condolences to President Thongloun Sisoulith. They emphasized their solidarity with the people of Laos in the wake of the National Assembly President's passing.

In addition, both Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed extended their messages of sympathy to Dr. Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, underscoring the UAE's support for Laos during this time of grief.
