El alamein: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held discussions to reinforce the fraternal ties between their nations and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation across various sectors, benefiting the prosperity and wellbeing of their peoples.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting took place in El Alamein during Sheikh Mohamed's fraternal visit to Egypt. The two leaders exchanged views on regional and international issues, focusing on recent Middle East developments and efforts to address them.
Both leaders emphasized their commitment to continued dialogue on issues of shared concern, acknowledging the challenges facing the region that require enhanced cooperation to ensure security and stability. Sheikh Mohamed's arrival in El Alamein was marked by a warm reception from President El-Sisi at the airport.
Accompanying Sheikh Mohamed was a delegation including H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Zayed for Good Foundation; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; alongside several ministers and officials.
