Abu dhabi: UNRWA has warned that Israeli mass displacement of the Palestinian people in Gaza towards Rafah would deprive Palestinians of any prospects for a better future in their homeland.
According to Emirates News Agency, the statement from UNRWA highlights the severity of the situation, emphasizing that such actions would effectively create massive concentration camps at the border with Egypt for Palestinians. These individuals have already faced displacement multiple times across generations.
UNRWA further stated, "We cannot be silent and complicit of such large scale forced displacement," underscoring the agency's stance against the potential humanitarian crisis that could result from these displacements.
