Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Group and Al Ramz Capital today announced the winners of the second round of the Al Ramz Investment and Trading Competition, with the third round of the initiative set to commence on the 25th of June. The competition aims to encourage informed investing, enhance financial literacy, and foster a culture of long-term wealth creation across the UAE.
According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative combines real-market participation with an engaging rewards structure, allowing investors to develop practical investment skills and gain deeper insights into capital markets. Participants in the second round demonstrated their investment knowledge and trading strategies in a live market environment, competing based on performance rather than portfolio size. The initiative continues to attract interest from new and experienced investors eager to understand market dynamics and disciplined investing.
The winners of the second round are Omar Alhadhrami, who secured first place with a one-month performance of 9.1% and won 1,000,000 Etihad Guest Miles; Abdallah Alashkar, who came in second with an 8.7% performance, earning 500,000 Etihad Guest Miles; and Ismail Hussein, who achieved third place with an 8.0% performance, receiving 250,000 Etihad Guest Miles. Participants were assessed using Time-Weighted Return (TWR), ensuring a fair evaluation of trading skill regardless of portfolio size. Equal access to market data, reports, and investment insights hosted on the ADX website enabled participants to refine their tactics and develop effective strategies.
As registrations open for the third round, investors with an active Al Ramz trading account can continue testing their strategies, track their performance on a dedicated online leaderboard, and compete for rewards, including another top prize of one million Etihad Guest Miles.
