Paris: At least 12 people were killed as a result of heavy rains that fell over the past few days in north-western Haiti. Floodwaters inundated agricultural land and caused damage to hundreds of homes and dozens of roads.
According to Emirates News Agency, Haiti's Civil Protection Agency reported that the most affected cities include Port-de-Paix, Saint-Louis-du-Nord, and Anse- -Foleur. The severe weather conditions have led to significant disruptions in these areas, exacerbating the existing challenges faced by the local communities.
