Abdullah Bin Zayed Discusses Regional Security with Foreign Ministers and Officials

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in discussions with several foreign ministers and officials to address the latest regional developments and Iran's missile attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah held conversations with Glauk Konjufca, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo; Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait; Marco Rubio, Secretary of State of the United States of America; and Khaled El-Enany, Director-General of UNESCO. During these discussions, there was a strong condemnation of Iran's missile attacks, which were described as unprovoked and terrorist in nature.

The conversations highlighted a collective stance against such acts that violate international law, with an emphasis on the right of targeted countries to take necessary measures to protect their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah expressed gratitude to the ministers and officials for their support, underscoring that all residents and visitors in the UAE remain safe.

The talks further delved into the serious implications of Iran's actions for regional and international security, as well as their adverse effects on the global economy and energy security. The discussions emphasized the need for the international community to coordinate effectively, focusing on political solutions and diplomatic dialogue to address and resolve existing crises, thereby enhancing security and stability in the region.
