Abu dhabi: Investcorp Capital (ICAP), an Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) listed alternative investment company, has announced its acquisition of a US industrial real estate portfolio valued at over $200 million. The portfolio consists of 19 industrial properties totaling approximately 1.4 million square feet, located in key regions including Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati.
According to Emirates News Agency, the real estate portfolio is about 97 percent occupied and is leased to a diversified tenant base. The tenants represent various sectors such as light manufacturing, logistics, wholesale distribution, industrial services, and consumer-related businesses. This acquisition reflects Investcorp Capital's strategic focus on investing in high-potential industrial assets.
The details of the acquired assets include 13 buildings in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, covering around 1 million square feet. Additionally, there are four properties in Chicago, Illinois, totaling approximately 286,000 square feet. The acquisition also includes one property in Indianapolis, Indiana, comprising approximately 130,000 square feet, and a fully occupied 44,000-square-foot property in Cincinnati, Ohio.
