Abu dhabi: The Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) announced that Iranian drones targeted civil air navigation equipment within the Bahrain Flight Information Region (FIR), though the incident did not disrupt air traffic operations.
According to Emirates News Agency, the CAA's statement, as reported by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), highlighted that the relevant authorities acted swiftly, adhering to established operational and security protocols. The measures taken ensured the uninterrupted provision of air navigation services and the continued safety of air traffic.
The CAA further assured that all flights, including those passing through the Bahrain Flight Information Region, were operating as usual. This normalcy was maintained through ongoing coordination and monitoring efforts in collaboration with international organizations and relevant authorities.
