In a bid to address domestic fuel shortages, Russia's parliament has approved urgent amendments to the tax code. These changes aim to stabilize the fuel supply disrupted by recent refinery outages. The legislation introduces measures such as import subsidies and permits the blending of lower-quality fuel. Furthermore, it delays the modernization deadlines for refineries, providing them more time to adapt and enhance production capabilities.
