Cairo: The 57th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair concluded on Tuesday after welcoming more than six million visitors over the past two weeks.
According to Emirates News Agency, a total of 1,457 publishers from 83 countries took part in the fair. The event was held under the slogan: "Who stops reading for an hour falls centuries behind". The fair attracted a wide range of participants and was a significant cultural event for the city and the international literary community.
