Dubai: The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and the Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah (RAKDCA) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) designed to enhance strategic partnership and share expertise, with the aim of improving operational efficiency and ensuring top-tier safety and security in the aviation sector.
According to Emirates News Agency, the MoU was signed by Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and Eng. Esmaeel Hassan Esmaeel Alblooshi, Director General, Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah. The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation through the exchange of information, data, and expertise. It also involves the formation of joint working groups and regular meetings to oversee the MoU's implementation and address any challenges.
Mohammad Abdulla Lengawi emphasized the significance of the MoU, stating that it marks a crucial step towards greater integration and coordination among UAE's civil aviation entities. He highlighted the shared commitment to advancing development and innovation and achieving high standards of safety and operational efficiency. Lengawi expressed eagerness to unify efforts and exchange expertise with Ras Al Khaimah to elevate the services of the aviation sector in line with the vision of the UAE leadership.
Eng. Esmaeel Hassan Esmaeel Alblooshi remarked that the MoU aligns with RAKDCA's strategic vision to enhance integration and activate partnerships with national civil aviation entities. He noted that the agreement is fundamental in uniting efforts and exchanging technical knowledge to improve efficiency and strengthen safety and security standards in UAE airspace. Alblooshi reiterated the commitment to building a more resilient and sustainable civil aviation sector, reinforcing the UAE's position as a leading global aviation hub.
Both parties underscored that this MoU represents the beginning of a promising strategic partnership, supporting national efforts to maintain the UAE's leadership in the global aviation sector.
